excessive hair fall.

Most of these symptoms result from higher androgens and testosterone levels in the body.

Is PCOS curable permanently?

PCOS is not curable but there are a few ways to manage and reverse the symptoms. A nutritionally rich and right diet can help manage the symptoms. Apart from that, Exercise, yoga, and meditation can particularly help manage your symptoms of anxiety and stress. You do not have to go through strict diet control but need to watch out for what you are consuming in your daily routine.

Can you get pregnant with PCOS?

Yes, you can get pregnant with PCOS. Typically, an egg is released from the ovaries every month (ovulation) the egg is prepared for being fertilized with a sperm, when there is no fertilization the egg is cast out of the body with periods. In PCOS, ovulation might not occur, which is perhaps the primary cause of irregular periods.

Here are some essential activities you might need to introduce into your daily routine to combat these symptoms.

Lose weight

Increase your fiber intake by eating fiber enrich foods.

Take a protein-rich breakfast to reduce cravings.

Watch your daily dairy intake.

Add veggies to your diet

Walk every day if possible, even after eating to manage blood glucose levels.

Exercise helps lower the hormones.

Take supplements (omega-3, vit D, vit B complex, inositol, vitamin C, calcium, and vitamin E.)

Even though all these things help overcome the symptoms and improve ovulation but it’s not mandatory that what works for one person might work for another person as well. This is why you will have to see for yourself what helps relieve your symptoms.
